front desk has no presence of mind

good price, clean, store open 24 hours

Price is affordable, clean linens, towels and room itself. Good price for a nice hotel and good wi fi. One thing I didn't like is the front desk that charge me of the beer i didn't consume. I ordered 2 beers 17 april midnite, i told the front desk clerk the empty beers which was already there before I came doesn't belong to me. But when I checked out the following day, 18 April 12:00pm, the receptionist on duty still charged me of the said beer, so I paid everything without receipt, and refund my money for the beer i didn't drink. She is not good in dealing guests. I wish I got her name so I can post it. I recommend the manager to give her more training.

Worth what I paid for.

I was attended to promptly when I arrived. I like traveling early in the morning so I was too early for check-in. Good thing they have a secured area where you can leave your bags while touring the city in the morning. You can just come back to check in. I came back earlier and was allowed to check in because the room was already available. Staff is accommodating, answers all questions and requests the best they can. Reminder though - if you are scheduled for an early pick up (first trip) going to the airport, ensure that the guard or staff you talked to is able to relay the message to the one on duty in the morning. I had to call the van owner myself at 430A to ensure that they will pick me up on time. You don't want to be late for your flight. Overall, am satisfied. It was just enough for what I had paid for.

Non-aircon room is still fine

Non-aircon room was still fine for me for the price. It was clean and tidy. But, the room is right next to the entrance of the inn, so it can get noisy. Included breakfast is not really a breakfast, two bread slices with instant coffee. Just get the room without breakfast. Could save few bucks! Otherwise, no complaints at all for the price.

Value for money

Value for money, common areas are clean and very homey, friendly staff
6.7
When I got to the place, I was immediately greeted by their very friendly staff. The receptionist was fast enough to get my reservation details but had a bit of confusion and asked me to pay for the room when I already paid for it online through Agoda. I showed her my booking confirmation and immediately apologized. I got to the place before the published check-in time so I understand we had to wait for a bit to get the room ready. Decided to have coffee while waiting for the room and it took a bit before I got my order. When I got to the room, it was small but very cozy. The air conditioning unit in the room that I stayed at was making a lot of noise and took hours to cool the room. The room comes with clean linens and towels for your use and toiletries like a small soap and shampoo. I was a bit disappointed with how the bathroom/toilet looks was maintained because it sure needs a little more cleaning. The place is a few meters away from the main street (Lacson Street) but near commercial and dining establishments like the Lagoon and Robinson's Bacolod. The cab drivers are pretty familiar with the place so there won't be any problems getting to the place. The place also offers to call you a cab if you need one or you can take the local pedicab or walk to the main street. The area looks safe and very quiet. The common areas are well lit at night and is very quiet. Overall, my stay in 11th Street Bed and Breakfast was good. It's a cheap alternative for accommodation if you are thinking of visiting Bacolod and would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Never Again

The hotel is near the city center
3.3
First off, the room was like a walk-in closet but with a bed instead, yes that is how small the room is. The comfort room is like the cabinet. It was also noisy as you can hear the people dining outside. The AC was ok but over-all I think there are much better hotels in Bacolod than 11th street even at the same price range. The staff were also poorly trained, I had to wait for 30 minutes for the free breakfast that never came and when I complained about it, nothing, no apology no effort to correct the mistake just silence and empty stares. Maybe their family rooms might be bigger but if you plan to get their single aircon rooms, I think you better book at a different hotel as this one is not worth the money you will pay for.
