Poor Sleep

1: Position / Location. 2: Veiw. 3: Service
i was extreamly unset when a 02:00 hrs a couple staying in the hotel decided to play music and start talking loundly. I complained /called to the reception to complain at +/- 02:20. Eventually at 03:00 the music was turned off. I paid six thounsand Rands for the room AGODA - If i had have booked at the hotel it would have been the same price. This did have a very adverse effect on my stay.

great bar, restaurant & staff
This hotel was a lot further from the main camps bay area but the hotel provides free shuttle service & pick up till about 11pm which worked out well. We had drinks at the leopard bar which was nice & had dessert which was amazing! The rooms are quite nice & very cozy but i must say i found them extremely over prized. When we initially looked at the pictures online & because of the location we thought we would go ahead & book it, we also got upgraded. But to be honest we were glad we we had only booked for 1 night because as lovely as the hotel is, and the restaurants & the staff, it still isn't worth pay as much as we did. I understand camps bay is a lovely area but i think next time around i would try to find a less expensive hotel & possibly just come & dine here.

One of world's best hotels

overall setting; service; food
One of the world's best hotels, certainly pricey, but good value for the money; amazingly attentive and efficient staff; outstanding cuisine (breakfast & dinner); very comfortable; beautiful ocean views.

Beautiful location

Restaurant, Spa
It was my our 10 year anniversary. Our informed the hotel and they acknowledged. We were first shown a beautiful room and checked into a beautiful room 10 minutes after checking into the room we were told it was the WRONG room and asked to leave. We were then taken to what I assume was the worst room in the hotel. It was boiling hot and over on top of the small restuarant. Of course I went a little crazy. We then were offered the first room we were shown for an "UPGRADE" fee (which I accepted and paid for) WHAT A SCAM! However, the main restuarant and spa package was amazing

Cape Town Wonder

The staff, service and dining experience were amazing
I travel extensively for work and pleasure, typically staying at 4-5 star venues. The 12 Apostles is rated as a 5 star however I would list it as a 5 star +. The staff treat guests like they're on a silversea or Seabourn cruise with any wish instantly attended to. The dining experience, wine and service were all fantastic. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with ocean views and a large balcony. I would choose that room category again rather than teh mountain view. The hotel offers a shuttle into town and Camps bay on the hour and negates the need for taxi or other self drive options, allowing hotel guests the freedom to sample local wines. This was a real winner.
