Great Apartment and location
Overally a great place to live in. We had a comfortable stay over the 3 days we stayed in. Great location, only a short walk to King Cross Station. However, construction site next to the apartment can be noisy in the morning. Overally, a great place to live in with kitchen facilities.

Excellent value accommodation close to the train s
Except for the construction work right next door the apartment I was in was very quiet and all the furniture and fittings were well maintained. Removing the 'mirror ball' light fitting in the kitchen and putting in an ordinary overhead light would great enhance that room. Conveniently located close to transport and a wide variety of services the apartments at 126 Victoria Street are excellent value for money and I will definitely consider staying again.

Perfect Location
We stayed in the executive apartment for 5 nights. Pros: The apartment was comfortable with lounge and kitchen facilities that was welcoming after a long day sightseeing. The hot water in the shower was fantastic and the queen sized bed was comfortable. Within walking distance to kings cross station and nearby restaurants it was the perfect location for getting around. Cons: The kitchen light fitting is not suited for the room it does not give out much light. The apartment smelt old and there was a sewage smell throughout , the bathroom sink was blocked, the ceiling fans were covered in dust and the bathroom fan light was missing and also covered it dust. The apartment windows had to be left opened during the day to air out the place. We ended up having to use a deodoriser which freshened up the apartment, but still left windows open each day. The sink was so bad that we bought a drain cleaner to unblock the sink. There is building construction work next door (that is in the early stages of site work) each day (except Sunday...Yay!) from 7.00am onwards. This included, jackhammering, banging, a bobcat and workers talking loudly. If you are a person who likes to sleep in, this could be a problem. These works could also be the reason for the sewage smell. The apartment does not have a washing machine or dryer (there is a laundry nearby however; to use a top loader machine $3, a front loader $5 and to use dryer $5. Summary: Overall this is a lovely apartment with plenty to offer. With a couple of small changes eg. update kitchen lighting, consider installing washing machine and dryer, the maintenance of ceiling fans etc. All in all the value for money for 126 Victoria was good and we will definitely consider staying again in the future and wish the owners all the best.

Spacious apartment, valuable
The room is spacious, and it is cheap price. It is near King Cross station. However, there is no lift, so you need to pick your luggage upstairs and there is some bad odor in the room.

This place is so homey, kind of a compact one bedroom flat with an easy self check-in. There are a small kitchen corner which we can cook a simple dish (FYI, no cutlery or any fork&spoon, the rest is well equipped), a living room with a big flat screen TV, a bedroom with a super comfy bed, and a tiny attached bathroom. The location is quite good, 5mins walk to Woolworths supermarket, 10 mins walk to King Cross station and a walkable distance to the Royal Botanic Garden. There are also many restaurants that open until late night around. The only downside is the noises at night. However, just close the windows, it's fine enough. Overall, we love this place and will definitely stay here again, if we are at Sydney.
