4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Great in the dry season.

Location is beautiful & mystical. Staff are friendly, helpful, competent
When it rains, you can't really go out - especially if the river is flooding. So you have to roll down the canvass doors & windows and sit and swelter in the gloom. Had to cancel our excursion to fishermens village (river too high & too wet) Had to avoid swimming in river - smelly sewerage overflow & strong current. Need wet weather activities. What about a jungle walk? Clear the path, use local guides. Get decent videos (the ones provided were crappy). What about a gym / volleyball / basketball court?

Great resort and good foods

Very beautiful resort, best foods and friendly staffs
This is our first time we stay at this resort. It's so beautiful place ever. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary over there. The resort manager decorated our room so nice with two lovely elephants and a chocolate cake for us ready when we walk-inside the tent. The food is so delicious and looks so fancy on every dish they made. We enjoyed it so much. We will come back and stay there again for the next trip.

Peace and tranquility

the location, the excursions, the tents
We had an amazing time. A lovely retreat from the commotion of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, where luxury and nature truly combine. The tents were very nice and comfortable, the food was great, and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating.

The hotel's service

Environment, room's cleanliness and view
The room was great, but the food was awful. I need to wait almost an hour whenever I ordered food for my breakfast lunch or dinner.

Our stay was simply perfect.Really hope to return!

Romantic atmosphere! Attentive staff! Amazing room!
Cannot praise the service and staff enough!! When our bus arrived, a member of staff met us to escort us to the boat. The service the staff give is exceptional! Always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Impeccable English skills. From the moment we were greeted we felt like part of their family. The area is stunning. Wonderful relaxing view and location. You can swim in the lake outside your private deck area (the review regarding the toilet being flushed directly into the water is false and misleading. There is a tank where the waste is flushed and broken down, and when in a natural Eco floating village, I'm not sure how people expect waste to be treated?) The water is clean and fresh! Kayaks are offered free of charge which allowed us to kayak around the entire island. It was so peaceful and remote. The food was good. We ordered room service for lunch, ate in the restaurant for dinner and again in the restaurant for breakfast. Couldn't complain about thing! A good selection so cater for everyone. The room is BEAUTIFUL! It's not like a tent at all. We have travelled a lot, but this is without a doubt one of the most stunning, professionally cleaned and styled rooms we have come across. Even the bathroom was picturesque! We even arranged a driver to take us on to Koh Kong the next morning and even that service was exceptional. Pristine car and a driver that drove us to various hotels of our choice until we settled on one, all the while smiling and chatting. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is expensive(ish), yes, but worth every penny. Thank you 4 rivers for our amazing stay! We hope to see you again. Laura and John (London)

Amazing wilderness retreat. Fabulous concept.

Accommodation Staff Kayaking
This is a great concept and I hope the word gets out. It is for those who want a very remote rainforest experience. Even in the wet season we had some beautiful fine weather but when it rains it's typically a tropical downpour.

Disappointed with 5 year old tents

Beautiful Jungle location!
The tents were no longer sealing out the natural bug life. No personal mosquito nets. Dinner, for the price, was blah. The manager was not very helpful in arranging a transport to the next destination. Our second night we ate at the neighbouring Resort.

Hazardous sewage problems cancel the good things

Photogenic, unique and off the beaten track.
Septic tanks overflow directly into the river where the unsuspecting guests are encouraged to swim. Extremely overpriced mediocre food to which one is a hostage as the property is superbly isolated. Lack of privacy (vis-a-vis include mini-village, barking dog, noisy outboard motors, crying baby of villagers, etc etc) other than that the place is very photogenic, rooms comfortable, river great for paddling (kayaks free of charge) and staff very friendly, but where it is not in Cambodia? if the sewage issue and overpricing by greedy owners stopped, it would be a great 2 nights getaway.
