Nice apartment with good service and space
The room is spacy relatively on the island, good mix. with tentants.
The Location of Apartment is very good, although it is a little bit fell short with HK MTR Subway (about 10 minute walk). Still it is very accessible to Macau's ferry terminal and HK Airport. No problem with transportation for the location is very close to trams. Shopping and restaurant is also not far away from the spot. For tourists want to mingle with locals and have a feel with their daily lives, it's a good choice!

Great central place to stay in HK on a budget
Location, reasonably priced, kitchenette
I stayed at 60 West Hotel in late Jan / early Feb this year. The location is excellent...close to Central but also very local as Des Voeux St is the dried seafood street. The rooms are a reasonable size with a kitchenette - sink, fridge, microwave, some cutlery and crockery. There are also plenty of supermarkets behind Des Voeux St. The interior design is modern and the price of the room was very reasonable especially for a central location in HK. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a good priced, local experience in HK!!

Spacious, bright, clean and well-located hotel
Quiet despite location on a busy main street
The staff was pleasant and accommodating and gave a free upgrade upon arrival. It was a brief stay, but one that was very pleasant.

Poor reception service
Apartment-like service
The reception staff was badly-mannered. We asked for an iPod loudspeaker which was said to be in every room when I called the hotel. However they said there isn't any. We were allocated in the 2nd floor right next to the gym room, which was kind of weird. In conclusion, except the fact that they had microwave oven and a fridge, everything else was disappointing. No next time.

Nice Hotel
Newly built. clean. good service
I booked this hotel because it's recently built. It's clean, good, new. Compare to other 5 star hotels in macau, I think this hotel is number 1.

Big room with friendly receptionists
The room size is big and comfortable
The room is big and newly renovated. The receptionists are friendly. However, the aircond in the room are not functioning well. We are told that if other room guest have turned on the heater, we will not be able to use the aircond. Luckily it was winter season and we can open the window for cool air. Other than that we love the room very much as it is new and well-designed.

Big Clean Room But Not So Great Location
Very Big Room As Compare To The Standard Hotel
we stayed 5 days at 60 west hotel. my son really enjoyed staying at this hotel as the room is big and spacious. the best thing is there is a microwave for us to per- heat our food that we bought the night before as the hotel do not provide breakfast. location is very far from the heart of hk. we always have to take a bus to the mtr to the central station if we want to go anywhere in hk. worst after a tired day of walking around, still have to alight at central station and take bus back to the hotel. a very hassle if you have a tired and cranky 4 yr old and also carrying your shopping bags. we tried to get a cab every time after returning from a day of outing but most of the drivers do not seems to know the location and refuse to take us.in the end, our whole trip was taking the bus to central metro station before proceeding to our destination. a lot of time is wasted in the travelling. the front desk staff are either do not understand much english or they are just bad in their sense of direction.ask them how to get to a few of the tourists places of interest, they will start opening the map directory book and even start surfing the internet to look for the places.at least they should know a few of the place having work in the hotel industry and every minutes they will get the same questions from hotel guests.overall, the staff are very helpful. my advice is if you do not mind the travelling time and prefer a big room, i would certainly recommend 60 west hotel. if not, try look for hotels at kwloon or mongkok which is kinda central to hk.

Great centrally located hotel
Close to all the public transport
Excellent facility close to all public transport! Trams and buses just outside the door and the MTR just a short walk away. Hotel is on the dried seafood street, and its a fantastic environment. Friendly staff and the rooms are nicely appointed.

Good hotel
Room layout & location
This was my first stay a 60 West and I'd be happy to recommend it at the right price. I booked it last minute and got a very good deal in terms of prce. The loction is also very convenient for the cental business distict, nigtlife and dining. Staff were also friendly and efficient. One other positive is the location which is very local in terms of the people and shops etc. Rooms had more of a studio feel and were spacious. Whilst mine faced a busy road nouise wasnt an issue.

Convienient location, spacious room
close to the macau ferry terminal and sheung wan mtr
we arrived early in the morning, so we left our things at the reception, and returned in the afternoon, as check-in time is after 2 pm. we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a bigger room, that had a king size bed on one side of the room and 2 twin beds on the other. the room was much more spacious than other hotel rooms we've stayed in in hong kong, the bed was really comfortable, and our view was great (considering you are in the high-rise part of town). a kitchenette with glasses, cups and bowls, complimentary tea and coffee and a bar fridge, as well as a dining table and a spacious bath made the room feel less like a hotel and more like an apartment. the bathroom was stocked with shower gel and shampoo, as well as a hair dryer. wi-fi was free and fast, and the tv had a few channels in english that we could watch. the reception staff was courteous and helped arrange a document pick up. they even suggested some good food around the area. we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.
