Good Design for Madonna Themed Studio Suite

Lovely Room Design, Quite New & Clean
8
Love the design of the room. Good stay for experience. I stayed in Madonna Boutique Studio, room has 2 floors. Staircase leads to project theatre, overlooking the bed. The room itself is very big, theres a balcony, good quality sound systems, a zebra arm chair & the bathroom is big as well.. the bathtub & the wash basin are separate. Theres a couple of selected Madonna songs being played, if you turn on the volume. Overall, the room is of good value, cozy & allows a good night sleep. However, breakfast is extremely limited offered by hotel. Location is near to night bazaar. Good restaurants include The Whole Earth nearby.

Nicely themed Chic hotel

Room decor, cleanliness & friendly staff

Initially had a little difficulty to locate the hotel as it off a slip road. After knowing the different theme in each room, I requested to have a change of room daily, and the staff were really friendly & helpful . It's only a 5mins walk to the Chiangmai night market (namely Anusarn Night bazaar).

My laptop picked up a virus from hotel wireless

location, clean, staff

My laptop picked up a virus from hotel wireless, this was only place in Thailand where I used wireless. Colleagues at other hotels did not have their laptops or other devices infected. Virus not detected until I got home to Australia, this has caused me lost time and $ to re-image laptop. Do not use wireless here unless it is fixed or you have some guarantee.

Disappointing from Start to Finish

I'm pro feedback and think it's important for businesses and people to know what they're doing really well and things they could improve on. Unfortunately, on this occasion, almost everything could be improved. I was 1 of 5 travelling in a group - we got 2 studios and I had to get a loft which was quite a bit more expensive. For my money, I got no shower (only a bath), the sheets were stained and needed a good bleach, the safe didn't open, and the Madonna themed music couldn't be switched off, only turned down with heavy feedback through the speakers thereafter. And that was just the first impression. Yes, Thailand is a developing country and Chiang Mai is a developing city, however the hotel is marketed at a certain demographic, so that demographic should be catered for appropriately. When I asked for a room with a shower, I was told I could have a studio after all, but that there'd be no refund. The pros about the room would be that the bed was actually comfortable and the air con worked, but the hotel is on a fairly main road, so was noisy early until late. The staff tried to be friendly, but were a little unhelpful (when a late night bowl of cereal was requested, I was told "that's only for breakfast", and the safe key had to be asked for 3 times). The breakfast was mediocre, just corn flakes, some white dry bread, cordial and eggs if you want them. The location was really good - only a 5min walk from the Night Bazaar. I feel bad giving a fairly rotten review, however there were a few opportunities when the staff could have stepped up and made amends, but didn't, so there you have it. I would not stay at this hotel again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are far better hotels in equally good locations for half the price. *Note that the loft suite does have a couch and mini-projector, but it's not conducive to group hang-outs as the room is effectively a studio with a cupboard with a projector in it*

Loved the Mozart studio room and fast internet :,)

The girl on the front counter was very helpful and informative. Will definitely be back and will try the Michael Jackson room next time. Nice quiet location yet still near everything.

Excellent, felt safe, secure and clean. Enjoyed Pum's Cooking classes just around the corner and also dining at the River Market just up the road. The river cruise boats are just across the road and it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the night markets.

One night stay, once again no parking lot and close to an expensive part of town. But overall, pretty good.

The place actually is not bad but with not so good maintenance (housekeeping does not do a good job), this makes the place outdated and not so likeable., dirty and smells

Overall satisfied

Unique design on the guest room, quiet environment, friendly and helpful receptionist
6.7
Location is ok to night bazaar, shopping area, massage centre, local restaurants but need to walk a short distance. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly, due to we had long stay in the hotel they willing gave us one night stay of free upgrade room. (Recepnist Miss Aon and Miss Pah both can communicate with good english and helpful) Design of the guest rooms are unique with different theme, surrounding environment are peace and quiet.
