Beautiful view of the Acropolis
Wonderful stay beautiful views. Do take a room with a view. The other rooms also okay but if you get a room which uses the middle elevator and electricity goes out. There is no generator, so no lights and no phones. The other rooms are okay -"as they have gen sets.

a few steps away from Monastiraki Station with Acropolis view
The location for this hotel is perfect, it is just right out of the station, the room is clean, the check in staff is so helpful (Especially Vangelis), the buffet breakfast serves at the rooftop where you can have a superb acropolis view.. during the night, the rooftop lounge is very pack and staffs are not very friendly.. the lift to the room is a bit small but it is not an issue for all of us.. would return to this hotel if we visit Athens again..

Fantastic Stay!
The hotel is centrally located. Literally right behind a metro stop that will take you anywhere you need/want to go. The staff is great (except one guy). I did not get their names, but all but one was extremely helpful. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is amazing. The room was huge and the shower/bathroom facilities are great too. Wifi is good, but annoying that you have to sign in so much. I would definitely stay at A for Athens if I were to visit Athens again.

A for Athens bar too loud
We had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony which was fabulous but no one told us how close to the bar this was and at 330am music was still blaring but we had to get up at 530am for a flight. The staff then spent another hour dragging chairs and such cleaning up so basically we did not sleep at all. They should have told us and offered us a different floor away from the bar

Stunning View, Deafening Noise
Location is ideal for travelers with short stays and wants extreme accessibility to everything. Room size is perfect for 2 adults & 2 large opened luggage and still adequate room to move around. Concierge staff in the afternoon shift was really helpful to give us a short briefing on the hotel location map during our check-in too. The view was superb; probably one of the best we came across, which made our previous experiences in our ocean-views hotel too mainstream. It was the brightly lited Monastarki & Acropolis, which we regretted not staying for another night apparently. However, our room (no.52) just located below the rooftop bar was extremely noisy. We are fine with street noises from happening crowds which can be lessen by shutting the windows. But it was the hullabaloo from chairs & tables dragged across the floor, on the 'hollow' ceiling right above us- within the room. We tried to shut an eye for the picturesque view out the balcony and went to bed at 12am in the midst of the chaos. Unfortunately, the commotion from the 'musical' chairs came on again at around 4am! It was a blessing in disguise that we have to wake up early at 5.30am to catch our ferry. Upon checking out at 6am, we briefly informed the concierge(not the first one we met) about the morning mayhem from the dragging of tables & chairs right above us. When asked if that's normal, he shrugged and said, 'They're cleaning.' We left at his nonchalant reply as our taxi was waiting, but it is a surprise to us since the staffs should be more careful if they spared a thought for the guests still sleeping downstairs. Nonetheless, we may still return to the hotel again for it's view & location if we can pick another room away from the rooftop bar.

Fantabulous!
Excellent location (flea market is just across the street; surrounded by shopping areas, syntagma square and parliament are about 7-min walking, Acropolis is about 10-min walking, basically everything is near from here) the hotel's traffic is quite high because people do come there for its rooftop bar, staff is helpful.

Located Centrally
The hotel is located just across from Monastiraki Train Station. it is very convenient should you wish to travel from the airport / ferry terminal and vice versa. The check-in staff were all very helpful with our questions. Kudos to them! It is recommended to anyone who is considering to stay in Athens. And most importantly, it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Thank you A for Athens once more!
