Aava Resort & Spa can help arrange a selection of excursions and activities including fishing, snorkeling, cave exploration, and even an intimate dinner on a deserted beach. The bungalow-styled rooms all feature a terrace, Jacuzzi bathtubs, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The town does not boast much in terms of shopping, but the resort has built a strip which offers some options for guests. A must do while you are here is a trip to the spa for complete relaxation for your body, mind, and soul. Aava Resort & Spa provides the opportunity to explore the yet unspoiled beauty of the region.

Don't Book

Location, Beach
What was supposed to be an idyllic 4 night retreat after celebrating New Year ended after 2 nights and we packed up and left. Staff attitude deplorable, dirty rooms, complete lack of privacy, no bar after 9.30pm, way over priced and couldn't wait to get away. If you are thinking of going to Khanom then its quiet but the beach and surrounding areas are special however find somewhere esle to stay as this is a rip off

Quiet retreat and good for relaxation

1. Friendly and helpful staff 2. Relax environment 3. Nice massage
Transfer from/to Krabi Airport @ a cost. Place is quiet with more European guests. Room is clean and staff are friendly. Went for a day tour and was lucky to see d pink dophine. Visited a limestone cave and found it quite interesting. Good place for rest n relax.

Just so so, not a great place to visit

nice designs of hotel, good massage and food
Stayed 3 nights in Aava, quiet disappointed about the hotel standard. Room was not clean and small. Pool is so so, gym is small and bad location. However, they offer good food and the restaurant is right in front of the beach. I won't go back this place anymore.

Pleasantly surprised!

food, service, and beach
If you're looking for solitude, this is your place to stay. And one of the best places in Khanom. The serrvice and food is excellent. Management is Scandinavian so there is a nice balance of Thai and Western food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Young children eat for free during lunch if one adult orders. There are 2 happy hours during the day...from 11am-1pm and 4pm-6pm. Wine, beer, mocktails, and non-specialty cocktails are buy one get one free, which makes them quite affordable. This makes beer 45 baht each, mocktails 75 baht each and cocktails 125 baht each. That's a pretty good steal for a beach resort. If you're looking for things to do, other restaurants to visit, or many other people to befriend, this is not your resort of choice. This is for getting away and simply relaxing, which was exactly what I needed. Loved this resort!

Beach, food, happy hour
It was our second stay at the resort, originally to see the pink dolphins in the area. Now we stay there when driving to / from Phuket.
