Good but over-rated
Location, Spaciousness,
The resort is pretty old and tired and in need of a decent renovation. Service was average and despite checking in after 11pm there was little consideration and care in giving us a later than normal check-out. We were told we could check out 30 minutes later. . . We'd booked in for 2 adults and 2 kids via the agoda website but somehow the 2 kids had dropped off the booking (Agoda Website needs a seriuos overhaul - too hard to book as a Virgin FF). The room had no bedding made up and we needed to prepare the sofa bed ourselves. . . fun at 11pm after just arriving. Not overly impressed.

Great escape
The view, food, nice quiet beach
Was fantastic, we enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing watching the whales. Food was nice and reasonable price, staff were very helpful.

A very nice holiday!
The swimming pool, the shaded outdoor hot spa, and the private beach front location.

badly needs an upgrade
Absolute Beachfront Opal Cove Resort
Rooms are in bad need of an upgrade. The beds are like sleeping on a timber plank, the pillows are flat as a pancake. restaurant not open on Sunday. As to beach front, you have to cross a paddock then through trees and then you hit a stone beach. Would not recommend.

Opal cove
Spacious. On the beach Spa
Very enjoyable even if it was a long walk to our room near the end oh a very long corridor. Also it is a fair way out of town.
