Nice stay in Acropolis Museum Hotel

1. Location 2. Friendly staffs 3. Good value of money
My family stayed in Acropolis Museum Hotel for 3 nights in End of Aug 2014. In general, I would like say it is a good hotel. The location of this hotel is great. Just 5 minutes walk distance to Acropolis site and Museum. Also hotel did not provide dinner but we can easy find a lot of nice restaurants near by Acropolis and Museum. Hotel staffs were nice and helpful. There was no problem to communicate with English. Breakfast had no many selection but was acceptable. Only downside was the room a bit small for 3 person stay and there was no hot water supply except breakfast time. I would like say it is good value for money.

Good location

Near to metro, lots of restaurant around, nice looking building
It's very close to metro station so it will be very recommended if you plan your trip by metro. In addition, there are many restaurant around the hotel so you will always find something to eat. However, there are not many choices for hotel breakfast, even offer same breakfast every day during the time I stayed in the hotel(6 days). WiFi signal is very weak and unstable.

Great value in December

Comfortable and close to metro
Small but comfortable room. Easy walking to the Acropolis and other sites and a short metro trip home later if you are tired from walking. I did not make it to the breakfast, but no restaurant/room service, not even water provided so bring your own!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The travel agent right across the street was helpful in deciding the rest of my trip's itinerary.

Very Lovely Hotel.

Very central to main attractions. Big Rooms. Clean and Tidy.
This is very lovely and unique hotel. It is very close to the main attractions and some amazing restaurants, which you can find just right around the corner. It is also very close to a 24hr laundromat. The room was large, with a comfortable big bed and air-conditioning. The hotel and the room was very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

Good location hotel

The location of the hotel is very great, near metro station and tourist destinations such as acropolis, plaka and monastriraki. The hotel and room is beautifully decorated but very small.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: You can walk to Plaka and Monastriraki and Syntagma square withi 15 min.

Great location, but loud!

The hotel was very good located only 5 min. wlk from the Plaka and Acropolis! The rooms in the "normal" floors were probably nice and comfortabel, the one we had all the way on the top floor was very little.; for a longer stay than a couple of days you would probably go crazy! The staff was very niche and helpful!
We had a great time in Athens! Even though it was december the weather was great and there weren`t many tourist around! We always make a point of mingle with the local people, and we were welcomed everywhere with a smile! The greek are a very friendly people!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Don`t only stay in the city of Athens! Go down to Pireias and take a boat out to an island for lunch! Have a look at the great small whitechalked churches...

Staff hospitality, supurb beds and wonderful breakfast
My daughter and I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hospitality from the staff was excellent, very helpful. Breakfast choice excellent. The beds are wonderful. Location very good. Would highly recommend.

Super Value for money

near the Syngrou-fix metro station and the Pathenons
This is a small hotel with 3 floors only and imagine there is only 1 lift which can only accomodate 3. Rooms are very small but clean. Very good reception staff as they can guide you correctly. This hotel is only a 5 min walk to the Syngrou-fix metro station and 15 mins walk to the Pathenons @ Acropolis. Other than that there is not much excitement around although there is a new sports bar next doors which is due to open in mid Dec 2010.

prize find in Athens

Small, friendly hotel with very helpful staff - we were made to feel very welcome. Excellent location.
We should thoroughly recommend this hotel, since, apart from its convenient position for the sites and the Plaka, the staff were most friendly and helpful, and our bedroom was very comfortable. It is really good to find a haven of quiet in such a bustling city, and a place where you are treated more like a friend than a mere customer.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Very close to the Acropolis and the excellent new museum.
