great location and good atmosphere

small and nice
this was a really good stay! lovely hotel with an excellent location to both the old town and the city center. easy to get there by car. the breakfast could be a little more, but the breakfast room was small and personal. really good atmosphere!
Shopping Tip: both the ols city and the city center is a good place to do shopping. the old city can give you everything, from spices to scarfs to food and so on, the more modern shops you'll find in the city center and Mamilla mall, just a small walk from the Jaffa gate. i bought some really cheap eyeglasses.

Very good location

Very good location,nice room
The hotel itself it`s located 5mins walk from oldcity. So it`s very convinient for the visitors. The Room we booked from Agoda it`s a Superior Suite.the room itself it`s very nice and clean. Just one problem is when we checked in the people in the check in counter told us we need to check out at 10AM instead of 12AM in the second day.The reason is they have a big travel group will come.only in this point we are not so satisfied.

Did the Job

Good location, friendly staff, decent hotel
We had a mishap with our original hotel in Jerusalem, so booked this last minute because of a great deal online. The guy upgraded us to a 2 room suite because they weren't that busy. It was a decent large room. The location is great. 5 minutes walk to the new tram line, 10 mins walk to the old town and in and around a few other hotels. While the place is past its prime, its neat, friendly and serves a decent but basic breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Do a tour or two of old town and then take a day trip to the West Bank (Bethlehem), Bus 21, Taxi guys will then hang round the last stop, pay them about 40-50NIS per hour to drive you round to the sights for a few hours, you will get the locals perspective on real life here and see the sights at the same time

Very small room, the mini-bar was poorly stocked and over-priced , there was not restaurantand, take care crossing the lobby, the mats are lethal! The breakfast was adequate.

Best hotel in Israel

well positioned and fantastic service
we stayed in this hotel in the beginning of our stay in returned, after experiencing the hospitality of israel from the south to the north. this hotel by far outperformed all the other hotels we stayed in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: haggle on the prices and be aware of your surroundings.

Small family run hotel, nice location

Very good location, close to the Old City and Damascus Gate
Good location in the American Colony, close to the Damascus Gate in the Old city. Rooms were spacious but not 100 % clean. Not bad value if you get a good deal on the net for this "Suite" but otherwise not really worth the regular prices. Around 25 NIS to go to most night life scenes which is ok. Very nice breakfast staff, although the food was a bit on the downside. Just a regular assortment of white toast, some cheese, cereal and eggs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: A definitive must is to visit the Jewish quarters in the old city and get a view from the distance of the Western wall as well as the Mosque. Very nice falafels as well.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: walking distance from the main attractions in Jerusalem as well as public transport.

Good location, clean rooms w kitchenette

8 min walk to old city, good breakfast selection
the below deals make this hotel a good choice in jerusalem. double-check if the hotel is over-booked, especially on public holidays.

Good location, dusty hotel

Loctiaon and price
Be careful about which room you stay in - the ones with fake hard wood floors are nicer (cleaner) than the ones with carpets. Its an older Arab-style hotel, which is quite dusty & a bit shabby but it does the job. Best in the price range in Jerusalem. The men who fix the breakfast are really very sweet, but the guys who clean the rooms could do a better job!
