Very Good Option in Denmark for families
There are a lot of great things about Adina, reasons I chose to stay here compared to other hotels in the center of the city. First was the room sizes and amenities - full kitchen and washer/dryer, multiple bedrooms, space! For a small family with two kids, this was excellent and the price was outstanding compared to other options I found. Yes, food store is right downstairs which is helpful. The downside is location - it is not a bad area at all, very nice, but very quiet and NOTHING around. One restaurant across the street was closed for the summer. And with small kids, it was very inconvenient to have NO options to walk to for eating or shopping. There is a bus nearby, but it rarely drove all way back up, or you can walk a solid 10-15 minutes to the train station. There is no concierge, and the staff - while all VERY nice - didn't really have any specific thoughts on where we could go to eat, basically saying go into the city and walk around. They should really have more specific ideas for travelers on where we can go since they provide no options outside of their own restaurant which is very expensive (very delicious too!) and has very few menu options. Pool was out of order almost the whole time we stayed. The hotel was clean, not immaculate but very nicely kept and we felt very comfortable. But I think they need to do a bit more to compensate for the location, maybe offer shuttles and transport occasionally and better job on where to eat. They gave me a website to order food, but it was all in Danish. As long as you know what you are getting into, you'll love it.

The Apt hotel is reasonably priced so it appears attractive on line. It includes a pool and a conference room which I suspect qualifies as a supposed 4 star. It is not a 4 star, the Hotel is adjacent to a busy rail line and you can count on multiple trains rolling by from 6am onwards on rails which are not welded as they are in Germany which means there is a lot of rail clatter. The beds are clean but not particularly comfortable, count on poor quality linens..think Motel 6... While we were there the restaurant next door was under construction, it was not appealing and we didn’t eat there. To go to town your fare is apx 5$ each way on the bus. Taxis are very expensive, and while a bike rental is seductive unless you are used to a pedal brake mechanism where the slightest rear movement of the pedals stops the bike..you may as I did pass it up.

Adina near Port
We enjoyed our stay in a comfortable room with nice staff. Outside there is a small Italian restaurant with the best pasta I've ever had and not mountains of it which was great. Delicious and full of locals(a good sign). 5-10 min walk to bus stop to town and railway about 20 mins. Loved not being in noisy city. Walk nearby canal. Very pleasant.

Nice neighborhood
This was a nice place to begin and end the day. We had a studio and it had a balcony that I could see a bit of water, trains and the downtown in the distance.Saw fireworks the last night. The trains aren't noisy. Just a very comfortable and safe place . Walked to the Little Mermaid and in to Nyhavn for dinner and it was lovely.Did Ottos for breakfast one morning which was nice but, expensive. Recommend the great coffee house with many rolls, muffins and breads that is about a block away and otherwise stock up at the Netto and eat breakfast in the room. The Italian place across the parking lot has good food at reasonable prices and serves until 10pm.The bus and trains are easy to use from here just get your smart phone out. Great for pre or post cruise. There's a city bus that is close that goes to the cruiseport. Would stay here again in a heart beat! Just out of city center enough to be quiet but, close by public transit.

Nice stay
Very nice if you travel with children. The distance from town center is not a problem because the public transport is excellent and the town is not that big.

Great location
The hotel is located close to the city shops and restaurants as well as the train links. The trains do run all night and can be heard so may not be ideal for light sleepers. I found it to be closer to a 3 star hotel in terms of the room and facilities but the staff were brilliant. Extremely helpful and quick to respond. It was a nice stay.
