The grounds where beautifully landscaped with bouganvelas(a flowering bush) and trees. We had a room infront and closes to the lake so the view was very nice. The swimming pool is a great asset to the property.
The receptionist, a fellow was very unfriendly and did not make us welcome at all. Did not give us any information about the vaclities eg. resturant, pool, shops or direction of Abu Simbel.
The rooms were very simple and not the cleanest.
The reception was very uninviting, will a very non professional person at the desk. He offered us no information about the hotel or Abu Simel. When I asked a question it seemed like he did not understand English OR did not what to understand!!! This makes it a very poor for good relations/ busniess opportunities. The rooms very very simple with no phone and the bathroom floor was not washed and a dirty floor mat was left by the tub. The air conditioner seemed to have only one temperature.
The resturant is convenient with a supper and breakfast buffet served, but the food was not great.
If staying there request a room in front and closest to the lake as the view is very nice.
The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance to the site of Abu Simbel. After the night show at Abu Simbel we walked back in the dark and it was perfectly safe. There where kids playing soccer on the street and were very friendly. I think that the Hotel is over priced for what it was but it is a tourist trap if you what to see Abu Simbel. The site of Abu Simbel was extremly worth the stay, it was one of the best site in Egypt.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The location was great as we walked to Abu Simbel site the afternoon that we arrived. It was a 10 min. walk on a paved road with a divider(boulavard) with trees so it provided a bit of shade as it was around 40 degrees that day.

Beautiful location, very paceful place, pools overviewing the lake, spacious rooms.
Even if it is a 5 stars Hotel, don't expect a 5 stars service and food.
At arrival we had asked transfer to the airport at 12 for the morning after, this to say that on the day, after checking out and at exact 12 we were waiting for our transportation that never showed up and when we confronted the receptionist (same as day before) he said he hadn't call for any transfer. We were lucky to have arrived to the airport just on time.
Our (dinner) waiter didn't understand English, which made it impossible to explain that i am vegetarian and don't want meat. Even the salad had meat in it. The vegetarian option mentioned in the Menu wasn't available.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's very close to Ramses Temple, you can walk about 1km/1,50km

The cottage-style room is good. Good view.
Walk from the ticket office of the temple for about 15 minutes. The walk is a bit far to go by taxi, the distance too subtle. The group's bus is not get involved
AGODA has not written clearly, to stay or dinner are included. The buffet format.

Staff sensible scenic pool and clean rooms
Rough-around-the distance from the temple of Abu Simbel meals
Compared to other hotels in Abu Simbel, but hesitated because of its high price, the result was very satisfactory. Luxury rooms are clean and have no feeling of calm. Imaichi meal is lunch at the hotel near the temple is another, more terrible because I think you Maa tolerance. The intense heat of the moment in the pool to relieve the weariness of the journey was the best. If you are going to use and Abu Simbel.
