Great location with lovely rooftop
Great location, 5-10 min walk to Khan Khalili market, lovely rooftop for complimentary breakfast, Friendly staff

arabian nights hostel in islamic cairo area is perfect if you want to avoid downtown midan tahrir area (protests/ demonstrations). the hotel is literally 5-10 walk to the khan khalili market and the al muizz st where you can do a walking tour to see a lot of amazing complexes, mosques. it is also across the street from awesome koshary restaurant! rooftop is lovely to have breakfast. staff are incredibly friendly, made me tea everynight. rooms and bathrooms are alright, not great but functional and value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you book any "trips" through frontdesk (eg: one day pyramid tour or Nile Cruise tour or even cab to the airport), probably best to book them 30 min before the actual time because the drivers tend to be "late" and you can avoid the anxiety.
