excellent location, quiet area, homy feeling chairs not the most comfortable, no heating in the rooms. do not stay on low floor when there is a wedding in hotel unless you like the loud music hotel is located in a nice area of heliopolis. the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. breakfast has a wide variety of food both hot and cold. the furniture in the room is a bit old fashion and the arm chairs are not the most comfortable for any extended period of time. the TV had many channels but very few in English. the hotel is good value for money even though it has some draw backs.
Nightlife Tip : hotel has a disco on premises, and there are lots of night spots not far away

Baron Hotel is my favorit hotel in cairo, I used to stay in this hotelduring my visits to cairo for the last 30 years. The Staff are very friendly and they try their best to make you feel that you are one of their good friends. It is located in quite streat but not far from major shopping areas. The rooms carpets and TV should be cahnged I strong recommend this hotel for families and bussiness trips and for tourists who are seeking a relaxing holiday
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hotel staff will help you to orgainze visits to the different musiums, pyramids, and other attraction places
