Great hotel, nice location
Location, service, quality

Excellent hotel with good service, close to Tahir Square, Egyptian Museum and many restaurants and sights downtown. Nice gym on the top floor with Nile view. Pool is very small, crowded during peak hours. Cafe on lobby floor serves good coffee and food. This is an exciting time to be in Egypt, I had no issues with safety/security, and while there were various protests, they had no impact on movement around the city or at the major sights.

This hotel has a lovely location right along the Nile. The rooms were a bit small but the service was friendly and efficient and the rooftop pool is a kitschy- perk.

I only spent 3 night at the Kempinski Nile Hotel, location is great, nile view is guranteed in the private balacony, room is spacious and clean, service is great and food is amazing.I used This hotel for a short business trip. The room and the breakfast were very good. However, the lounge was calm and clean. wifi is provided free at the room . i like the hotel very much
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
very nice place its near The Nile

Odd hotel lacking character
6
although i had a junior suite reserved the hotel was only originally wanting to offer a single bed standard room. it took half an hour of arguing for them to finally accept what i had booked and i ended up with a big suite...large but very plain; not up to what i was expecting from kempinski, at all. the bar and restaurant were empty / closed.

Fantastic suite
quality of the accommodation

fantastic rooms and very friendly staff. only noticeable downside was the fact that the external arrival area is so small that it is difficult to park in order to enter the hotel. there was a problem with our booking (the hotel had no record of it and this meant that it took about 30 mins to sort out the problem. this was unfortunate as we were tired, having just arrived on the overnight train from luxor. nevertheless, the hotel managed to honour the booking and we were delighted with the room. all good in the end!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cairo is an amazing city. See as many pyramids as you can stand and the Museum is a must!

Small but fabulous hotel
New hotel and free flow of drinks
8.7
stayed at a garden suite which is basically a combination of 2 hotel rooms, one as a living room and the other as a bedroom. staff was knocking on both doors, instead of just the one at the living room. however, butler service was good and room amenities including free flow of water, soft drinks and hot drinks was great. hotel location is 10 minutes walk away from tahrir square, which is the nearest place for food, but it was closed during our stay.
Travel tip:
The protests did not affect us at all, other than not being able to go to Tahrir Square.
