Staff, and general hotel facilities
* very thin walls between units
* shower and shower door needed fixing
* very uncomfortable bed. It appeared to be a very old divan with a very used foam mattress on top of the mattress. The hollows were already in the mattress.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities generally were very good. The grounds are well maintained and the units are set out well in the grounds. My unit was very close to the disco and not liking the thumping music that comes from a disco, I did not sleep very well. The thin walls of the units did not help with noise reduction either of the disco or the next unit. I clearly heard the people in the next unit watching "The Bourne Identity" at 1.30am.

Away from the noise of the city. Nice grounds and plenty of eating choices. Very close to the pyramids. There are ATMs in the lobby. There is a free shuttle to the city several times a day.
It is not close to anything but the pyramids and is about 45 minutes to an hour from the airport, depending upon traffic. Bottled water is pricy here. Verify your cab fares!
I really liked this place after staying 4 days in the city. It is quiet, clean, has well-manicured grounds and offers pleanty of food choices and a great pool. The rooms also have heat for the cold nights. There are 4 gift shops just adjacent to the front parking lot with "limited" selections for your travel memories. The shuttle service to the city is great and much needed because this place is not close to much of anything except the pyramids. If you are traveling with more than two people and you need room for luggage, be sure to book another way to/from the airport because there is no van, only a small taxi (we had to take 2 to the airport). If you want a cab to take you to the sights, ask for Emad. He was great and experienced. He took us the the pyramids and walked with us to explain the things we were seeing and also fended off unwanted vendors for us. I felt rested here and would stay again. Once you stay in the noisey city you will see the pros of not doing it again--if you want to sleep that is!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just down the road from the pyramids

The hotel was clean and in close proximity to the Pyramids.
Overall Had a great experience. The rooms were good and the food was not too bad either. Not very far from the Pyramids. It is around 20Miles from Cairo but the shuttle bus is available from the Hotel to the Cairo Downtown. Although beware of a cheat who be waiting at Cairo Downtown, as soon as you step down from the bus he will pretend to help you in crossing the road to the other side and will tell you that he is a manager for a Government Run Pyparus Showroom.

the rooms are very spacious to well you furnish
the restaurants could cook better
My parents and I have been 5 days in Oasis hotel in February 2009.
This hotel is found on the road ,that goes from Giza to Alexandria. It is close to the Giza pyramids but it's far from the downtown. This is not important because there is a shuttle, it brings three times a day to the Cairo close to the egyptian museum and it is free. Return included. This is very useful for the tourists. the Hotel is very beautiful, everything on a floor only. The rooms are in a small groups inside a great green garden, they are very beautiful and big.
There are three restaurants, a night club, a beautiful swimming pool and a beautiful hall. I have visited many hotels in downtown but this hotel it is good because there are't noise and confusion the evening. After a day in the big confusion of the Cairo, this makes to rest well! I can recommend this hotel to people from 40 years and over if they prefers the quiet.

Cleanliness, large bathroom,comfortable bed.
We stayed only one night as we were booked with a group tour for the remainder of our stay in Cairo. However, we arrived very late in the evening from Canada and were therefore very exhausted. Although it was late at night, your staff was courteous and efficient. We were shown our room immediately. It was very appreciated to have a quick check in. The staff was very helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, staff accommodating, rooms and grounds were very well kept and appealing.

Space, layout, rooms, facilities
Location - should be prepared to spend a bit on taxi charges
The hotel layout is excellent - it is spread over a very large area beautifully landscaped. The rooms all open out to gardens/pool/fountain and there is very perceptible feeling of space which is relaxing. Facilities provided are excellent - pool etc. Rooms are very nice and spacious.
The only thing is that the hotel is a bit far out - it is about 4 km from the Pyramids - it's ok as a base to explore Pyramids/Saqqara etc. So be prepared to shell out a bit for taxi fare if you want to go anywhere. No restaurants in the vicinity.

Good value for money. Friendly staff, pleasant setting.
You do hear quite a lot of noise from the neighbouring room. If you like to make a stroll from your hotel, this is not the right place for you!
The Oasis is an excellent hotel, the rooms (bungalow-style) are good, bathroom is up to European standards. Food is not spectacular but decent. The wireless internet is relatively expensive, and was down for one day (during a 5-day stay).
You don't have to worry about traffic noise - there's none. No mosque nearby to wake you at 5 am either. The downsde of all this peace and quite is, that you're far away from everything. Downtown Cairo is about 20-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The Gizeh pyramids are near, though, as is the road to the South.
The TV-set of my neighbours sounded as if it was in my own room. That might be a bit of a problem.
Staff are friendly, there is a free hotel shuttle to downtown Cairo. Fair prices for meals etc.
If you want a basecamp for exploring area's outside the city centre, our if you want an 'oasis' to escape from the noise of the city centre, this is an excellent choice.
(5-day stay, November 2008)
Hotel Feature Tip : Wireless internet access is sold in one hour (no interreputions) of one day cards.

for us it was a very good hotel friendly staff and everything was well maintained very child friendly.
with my family and parents, we are 7 nights at the Oasis hotel in Cairo stayed. My son had a great three of his sentence, the beautiful and well maintained playground zwembad. We could let him free because he could not walk around in the park. So did my father he is blind nm and the staff was very friendly and helpful a real oasis in the crowded Cairo. And we are certainly planning to come back to go in that hotel.Alleen but praise.
Shopping Tip : approximately 15 minutes by taxi is a large Carrefour now has everything to gain and there are a lot of shops with McDonalds and Kentucky.

It was close to the pyramids, good food and friendly service
There should be no carpets in hotel rooms because in the fugtihed comes to smell earth and turned sour.
It was super easy, we just handed our voucher at reception and was immediately assigned our room. Bags were carried to our room by a bellhop. There was a good buffet breakfast, which was open at a good time. There was good service at the hotel and the staff were very smiley and friendly. There was room service 24 hours a day and everything could be ordered. Hotel room was clean and nice and the hotel was well located in relation to the Pyramids and other attractions. The hotel is however a bit of road from the city center, but since it is not expensive to travel by taxi did not do anything. All in all a good hotel for money, yet it is not a hotel we should choose if you want luxury.

There also a swimming pool, clean and spacious rooms. I stayed in the room with a king, shark's fin is very enjoyed. Ate a buffet evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Also delicious with a wide selection.
Location is very bad. To go see the pyramids 15 minutes, we must take a taxi. And roads around the hotel is a desert, because there are no stores, such as water and regular online price of the hotel takes up about five times.
Overall a very nice hotel, nice swimming pool there. Also comfortable bed,眠Remashita tight. Satisfied with the rich buffet dinner menu. Bad location, but there is no shop around and drink and have to buy at higher prices at the hotel, you must use a taxi to the pyramids. However, because there is free shuttle bus to the center of Cairo, it was very convenient.

I went back for the third time the Oasis, after 6 months, nothing has changed, even better, there are more hours of use the shuttle to downtown. If you're going to visit Cairo strongly recommend it, is not far from the pyramids, in a quiet area away from the chaos of the city. I visited the hotel as central Victoria, caiokan and the Grand Hotel, no comparison, they high prices and are very old, sometimes they know the rooms of mold. Seeing is believing!

the beautiful park, the distance from the city, courtesy, value for money.
the beautiful park, the distance from town but its proximity to the Pyramids, the courtesy of staff, value for money make this hotel a good choice that together with all the beauties of the city will be in the future in the minds of those who have stayed I remember a beautiful, quiet moments spent in the peace of its beautiful park with swimming pool.
