Location, Bellmen

overpriced for what it was, dirty, staff was slow

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, and after two mornings of my bathroom flooding because I merely leaned on the sink my room was changed. The next one was better, but still not clean at all. The location of the hotel was great, which was one of the only positives. I probably wouldn't stay there again

Nightlife Tip : the Cairo Jazz Club was about 5 blocks away and really cool

i loved the location, the museum is just across el zamelec and the nile. giza where the pyramids are , is just down south maybe 20 minutes away. also the bazaar and downtown Cairo is across the nile about 20 minutes away with the traffic. aside from that, the staff of the hotel were very nice and accommodating. perfect price , it was really worth the stay.

the television was not clear but fuzzy, the toilet was old although kept clean.

my stay was perfect at this hotel. i was surprised that it was almost in the center of everywhere i wanted to go. the bazaar was my first stop and i was just across the nile the next day i went to giza and it was just like 29 minutes down south. the price of this hotel was so reasonable that when my taxi driver asked me how much i paid per night at the hotel, even he, an Egyptian resident was surprised at how cheap it was. the room was small but come on, it was clean enough, although you can tell that it is an old hotel. but so what, i was comfortable. it had hot water and cable tv, although it was not clear. it has a small swimming pool that was not operational while i was there, there is also a gym and wet and dry saunas. i had a terrific massage but found it a little expensive. but as a whole, i really enjoyed my stay at the pharoah egypt hotel.

Restaurant Tip : there are restaurants few minutes away from any direction, from Egyptian food to mc donalds.

centrally located - vegetarian restaurent is very near -

None

Good value for money. This hotel is centrally located . There is one vegetarian restaurent ( KHANDHAHAR ) near by this hotel - in the same road junction - just opposit to this hotel. There is no coffee machine provided in this hotel . Internet charges ( both in thier restaurent & in the room ) are prohibitively high .
