- Hotel Feature Tip : Renowned hotel for its location in a very quiet and green area in the center of Cairo. Excellent bar and restaurant in the cellar for the young and not so young.

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you leave the hotel before noon and have too much luggage to carry around do as I did and just deposit it for half a day at the Egyptian Museum and take a taxi (in my case to the airport that evening) from there!

if you want a taxi, stop one yourself, don't let the doorman arrange something for you, or you'll end up paying far too much.
