Hotel Feature Tip : Renowned hotel for its location in a very quiet and green area in the center of Cairo. Excellent bar and restaurant in the cellar for the young and not so young.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you leave the hotel before noon and have too much luggage to carry around do as I did and just deposit it for half a day at the Egyptian Museum and take a taxi (in my case to the airport that evening) from there!

if you want a taxi, stop one yourself, don't let the doorman arrange something for you, or you'll end up paying far too much.

Great Location in Zamalek and great Value for money. A driver working for the hotel ripped me off. The location of President is great as it is in easy reach of some great restaurants. Furthermore, you can walk around in Zamalek, whereas you cannot anywhere else in Cairo without the risk of getting run over. The only thing which I have been told they are working on is \connecting Zamalek with the rest of the metro system they have in Cairo.
For a 3 star the President is fantastic.
