After visiting Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and parts in between, we decided to spend our last night at the Semiramis Intercontinental - it did not disappoint. Great staff and service, fabulous location, good food - certainly more money than many other choices, but if you want a nice place - this one is it.
Travel tip : Cairo metro system is cheap, easy and great for getting around - and the central station is only 2 blocks from this hotel

In the web site they said the hotel would arrange a taxi (cab) for you from the airport, I didn’t see any waiting for me.
