convenience to airport
regular free shuttle bus to and from airport
clean airy welcoming reception area
clean rooms, comfortable beds
excellent food
area around poolside needs attention, drains smell in certain areas
Staff very welcoming, friendly and accomodating, first appearances on entry to hotel very impressive and the initial good impression continued as the check-in was quick and efficient. The porter showed us around en route to our room and everything seemed sensibly located . The rooms, although not too big were perfectly adequate , clean and very comfortable.
Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries and nice fluffy towels. Thought being so close to the airport that flight path noise would be a major inconvenience but we never even heard a plane overhead. The dinners were excellent at the poolside, with good choice of menu and very helpful staff. The shuttle bus to the airport is excellent, and travel in 10 minute intervals, and its all free, also the bus to downtown Cairo.
All in All an excellent hotel
Restaurant Tip : No need to go anywhere, the service and quality of dinner is as good as enywhere.

Not a good location if you intend to tour Cairo.
We stayed here as a transit hotel as we had a very early morning flight. The hotel is excellent for a nearby airport location. The staff was friendly and we received quick complimentary transport to the airport. As our flight was before breakfast was served the hotel packed us a box breakfast to go. We were very satisfied for our purposes.
| should only be a three star, If that! |

the reception area and bar staff.
The childrens swimming pool is a disgrace i had to complain to the manager as there were insects swimming in it and it was dirty. we were not able to change any money at the hotel as a copier was not working, thankfully they had a cash mashine we could use.
on our arrival we booked a trip to the pyrimids sound and light. the reception guy must not have loged it as we were waiting in the reception area for 45mins when we asked when our taxi would come no one knew about it. when at last they did sort it out we missed the first 10 mins or so and nearly got killed trying to get there! my mother in law had a problem with tring to get her laundry back when we had to check out however after complaining to the manager about this joke of a high quality hotel she let us have a room til things got sorted. Some of the staff seem to look down at you because it is a five star, when they actually need to look at what a three star is like and only then they might realise that they do not deserve to be a five star hotel, nowhere near.
Travel tip : the hotel is right out side the airport, try and sort the shuttle bus or get the hotel phone number to call them to pick you up. the taxis will rip you off it is practically on the airport grounds, but we were not disturbed by the noise and i am a light sleeper.
