Excellent location, overlooking Luxor Temple
Acceptable prices
A bit simple for those who want some luxury
Area a bit noisy
Excellent location, with a magnificent view from the roof garden, overlooking Luxor Temple. Rooms are good (for Egyptian standards) and generally clean, but simple. Breakfast is not much, although someone is making omelets this is about all one can expect; butter, marmalade, cheese, often they run out of it; bread very dry and not much choice, coffee and tea only when they think about serving it (not very often). But don't forget: this is Egypt, a country where many things are different from home. Overall a fine hotel with an excellent location

A very good hotel in Luxor. The price is cheap if you book online. The facilities is also good. But the room is little small for a triple room, but it is enough for rest. The hotel is in the city center, though the city center is not so prosperous in Luxor.

location is great, near to Luxor Temple and Ferry
lovely view from roof garden
breakfast (buffet) is a little chaotic, but this is Egypt
loud music in the street next to my room, playing from 10 PM to about 03.00 AM every day
Great value hotel, very friendly staff, ideal location.
Sometimes things go wrong, but they are typical for what can happen in Egypt, so don't be annoyed but see the humour of it.
For example: we were waiting for someone to pick us up and informed reception that we would be on the roof garden; at one point someone telephoned the waiter there, he looked at us and then put down the telephone. Later we we informed that reception had called him and asked if two people were on the roof garden, which he confirmed; instead of warning us that our pickup had arrived he disconnected, and the pickup went away.
Also funny is breakfast buffet, where two pots of coffee and two of tea are not sufficient for so many people, so when new tea and coffee are brought they are finished very quickly, but no one thinks of putting on the kettle again before those pots are empty; as a result most of the time one has to wait, wait, wait for tea or coffee. Same with the cook who is making omelets: equipment for one omelet only, and a cue of maybe ten people wanting to order one.
Again: don't be annoyed, smell the roses, this is Egypt!
All in all a very good hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Luxor temple is very close! You have a wonderful view of it from the roof.
