charming building, wonderful garden, convenient to temples, corniche, shops, helpful concierge
The original building is an old-world elegant palace, with a huge lovely garden in back between it and the new building where we stayed. Hoopoes and doves flit about a wonderful swimming pool. You can step out onto the busy corniche of the Nile, but retreat back to the cool quiet space during the heat of the day.
Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure to look for the hoopoes piercing the grass for bugs at dusk.
