This Luxor hotel combines an unbeatable location on the banks of the River Nile with unique touches sure to delight guests. The hotel is 20 minutes from Luxor International Airport and within walking distance of Luxor Temple. The ferry crossing to the West Bank is also close to the hotel, making visits to the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens convenient. A unique feature of the hotel is the outdoor swimming pool, built on a floating platform atop the River Nile, and drinks and snacks are served around the pool until sunset. Another charming aspect of the hotel is its restaurant boat, Le Lotus Boat, which cruises along the River Nile while dinner is served on board. Three other on-site restaurants serve local specialties and Italian and Mediterranean cuisines. Stay at the Iberotel Luxor and watch the sunset over the river before taking a walk down to the vibrant city center.

location - right on the Nile
hand soap in the bathroom - don't even provide a bar of soap
The Iberotel is not what you expect it to be. The rooms are dingy and the furniture must be at least 20 years old. The bathtub was filthy and the towels provided had dirty stains all over them. This hotel nickels and dimes you to death too. A charge for billiards? Really? $25/day for wireless internet (my dump of a hotel in Cairo offered it for free) that cuts out frequently. Service was pretty atrocious too. The only saving grace for this hotel is its prime location. It's a 5 minute walk from the Luxor Temple and right on the Nile. I would still advise choosing another hotel.

close to both temples and the egyptair luxor sales office
carpet is very old and no wireless internet
good location and a very competitive pricing but the room is very old but clean.
Considering Luxor circumstances, this will be a good hotel to stay and you can not really expect a good hotel serivce here even you stay in a few nice hotels by paying USD200 or more

Our stay in the iberotel Luxor was good. The rate is just perfect for what you get. Breakfast was ok. Rooms are small but well appointed even if a bit tired. Hotel is full of tour operator packages guest and this may make the hotel always very busy and service a bit poor.\nOverall is a pefect place to spend few days in Luxor and explore the beauties of this city.
