Great private balcony

The private balcony with river view was a nice treat. The buffet breakfast was nice and the restaurant staff were very friendly. However, reception staff barely acknowledged guests and made requests feel like inconveniences. The hotel was not able to provide a map of the city/area and tours were overpriced compared to those at neighbouring hotels. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, but rooms were very clean.

relaxing stay in hotel with beautiful grounds

stayed here at the end of a family adventure holiday wanting a better standard of hotel with pools to relax in and we were not disappointed. great room, clean, decent size with pool view. my daughter spent most of the time in the rooms since she wasn't feeling well and appreciated the amenities including the large widescreen tv and great film channel. fantastic buffet breakfast - all the usual egyptian and continental food plus omelettes and pancakes. pools were wonderful, one heated like a warm bath and one lovely and fresh to escape from the scorching heat. i was told that only about 25% of rooms were full, so we had no problems with getting sun loungers and space. gardens were incredibly well tended - i was up at 5am and the staff were busy sweeping away every stray leaf and polishing every light fitting. the staff were very friendly and helpful. we only tried eating at the italian where my daughter was a bit disappointed with her pizza but since we spend a lot of time in italy, that was bound to happen!
the only negative thing was that since we were getting the sleeper train back to cairo we had to pay for a late check-out which was as much as the room cost in the first place, which i thought was a bit excessive. but i suppose with tourist numbers down they try to get every extra bit of money that they can and they had let us check in early so that we could get away from our previous not so nice luxor hotel!

Clean facilities, friendly staff, good location.
Would not recommend dining at the other restaurants available on site.
Hotel food is okay.
Belly dancer provided cheesy night entertainment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to pre-arrange all ground transportation prior to arrival or you will be subjected to constant harrassment by locals.

Decent hotel by the nile with large pools

this is a decent/standard hotel at good rates. close to all the sights around luxor. they have good pools and decent service. food is average. although i really didn't like that they had vendors in the hotel that harass you to buy things. seriously you get harassed all day in egypt, can't i at least get a break when i'm in my hotel that i paid for? also the taxi drivers outside are major hustlers and liars, don't trust anyone.

This hotel locates near the center of ruins of Luxor.
It is cozy, surrounding 3 sides with buildings and river side is open providing great view.
Restaurant Tip:
Happy Dolphin is a wonderful place for dining out!!!
You don't miss it.

Very good Hotel. The location of the hotel is near to the Nil.
From the garden can see the river and the ancient city of Thebe. The garde of the hotel is beautifull. The hall is the part of the garden. The swimming pool of the hotel is excellent.
Travel tip:
Don't use Calesh (this is a local car with horse)and avoid local people.
