Well-maintained rooms, with comfortable furniture and fixtures.
Friendly and helpful staff who speak English, French, and even some Spanish and German.
Nice pool area.
Nice big and open public areas.
Evening entertainment left something to be desired.
Mediocre restaurants.
High prices in hotel shop.
This hotel offered a nice stay just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Easy 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride into town.
Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Staff were very good throughout the stay and there was really nothing wrong with any of the facilities.
Music by the pool at night was nice, though a bit cheesy. If you like a lounge act singing karaoke or playing a synthesizer, it's alright, but otherwise...
Breakfast buffet was fairly good. Nothing spectacular, but certainly more than the usual croissants and cereal. Other restaurants were a bit lacking, with not really any authentic Moroccan options, and the other items were pretty mediocre.
Otherwise, weaknesses were minor: no towels available at the pool, a bit of moldy bread at the breakfast buffet, low showerhead, etc.
I would probably stay again, if the price was right. But there are no shortage of "tourist" style hotels in the area to compare to. If you're looking for an authentic Moroccan experience in your hotel, you might want to look elsewhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you have the time, consider an overnight trip into the mountains, desert, or coast. Marrakesh is an interesting place, but the city is noisy, dirty, and can be tiring. Nearby towns and terrain offer a very different and exciting view of Moroccan life.
| Hotel Atlas Asni - definitely worth a stay. |

I would stay at this hotel again if I were to travel to Marrakech again. It was fairly central and a good location to the Jemma el Fna area where the souks (marketplace) was. A taxi should cost 30 dirhams to the souks but we paid 70 dirhams even after hard bargaining. In general, due to the unusually hot weather (over 47 degrees) it was difficult to explore all the areas we wanted to of the city but there were a few good surrounding restaurants and ice cream places.
Restaurant Tip : Cross the road and take a right and you will find a good restaurant with great food and service. To the left is the ice cream place where we had a refreshing pit stop.
