Great authentic experience

The hotel is fantastically positioned and has views of a really authentic village and the surrounding mountains. Dar Bladi is liked to the rather fancier dar daif next door but is far better value for money. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make our stay really memorable. The location is about 12-15 minutes from Ouarzazate by car and we had an excellent driver / taximan that took us wherever we wanted to go. Some of the local attractions are a little cheesy but worth seeing anyway. A trip to the local Oasis (Kif - I think it is called) is well worth the drive. All in all a great position and a great experience
Restaurant Tip:
Have dinner at Dar Bladi and not Dar Daif - the cost is about half - same service same food - half the price

dar bladi gehört zum dar daif, es liegt oberhalb vom dar daif in der alten berber lehmsiedlung. die zimmer sind etwas dunkel, wie die berberhäuser halt so sind. sehr freundliche bedienung, gutes essen. wir waren die einzigen gäste. internet gibts nur im dar daif. das auto an der strasse wurde bewacht und frisch gewaschen. die störche auf der burg sind aus nächster nähe zu sehen. die zimmer zur dachterasse sind inkl storchengeklapper.

leuk hotel in de woestijn

het hotel is niet gemakkelijk te vinden als je per auto reist. er ontbreken een paar aanwijzingsborden, alleen in de buurt van het hotel zijn ze er wel. als je er eenmaal bent is het een openbaring, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met thee en koekjes. de kamers zijn allemaal verschillend en erg origineel. zowel het ontbijt als ook het diner waren van uitstekende kwaliteit met typische streekprodukten. heerlijk. de kamers zijn basic maar compleet evenals de badkamer. de bedden zijn prima.
Travel tip:
boek tijdig i.v.m klein hotel met weinig kamers
