Bryan L. Couples United Kingdom, January 13, 2013	Relaxing friendly and helpful quiet beach side location; helpful staff 8.7 This hotel lived up to its write up on the Agoda page. Our beach facing room was spacious, clean and comfortable but perhaps a little basic in furniture. The A frame lodges looked better but many are in the garden not on the beach side; so be careful what you book. A very pleasant environment with a good food service and friendly helpful staff. Everyone says the people in Seychelles are friendly but here the staff positively offered help and advice to get the maximum benefit from our short stay. The hotel offers a free transfer to/from the ferry terminal, which is useful if you have baggage, although it is quite an easy walk otherwise. One word of warning; if you are dropped off by a taxi/truck the entrance 'office' is often unmanned and the real reception is a short walk along the footpath. Does that seem a little relaxed and casual? Yes but that is the lifestyle on La Digue and why you go there! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: If you want to see turtles in their natural environment, La Digue is not the place. Try other islands. The few turtles here are in compound on the Union Estate.

Couples United Kingdom, October 22, 2012	Very nice holiday escape Convenient location and great rooms 8.3 All round a very nice resort, we stayed in a room overlooking the beach and was very impressive. Great to see people still using bikes and horse and cart though there are afew cars and trucks around now. We hired a bike for the day which is the best way to get around the fairly small island.... ncie beaches as you would expect and just a very pleasent experience. Went for a couple of dives from the dive resort attached to the hotel. Probably not the best locations that we went to but still worth getting it in your log book. The main attraction is a leasurely walk along the coast and has to be the Anse Source D'argent beach.... pure postcard stuff... it is in the park so you have to pay a small entry fee but it is worth it. Also other beaches you can ride your bike to are just amazing. More choice on mahe but certainly there beaches here are picture postcard perfect. Travel tip: Some of the best snorkling we had in the saychelles was in the Anse Source D'argent park. There is sea grass growing which you may think it is not worth snorkeling but trust get swim out beyond the grass beds and you will find some of the best coral with turtles and all sorts of tropical fish in shallow warm water. It was amazing. The coral tends to be in pockets though so dont be affraid to swim around it will be worth it. And wear a shirt and long shorts as you will get very burnt on your back and back of your legs!!! trust me on that!

The Veuve Restaurant
Renowned throughout the islands for its traditional Creole cuisine, the Veuve Restaurant compliments its use of the freshest local produce and traditional recipes, with the highest quality ingredients sourced from around the world. In addition to its signature Creole dishes the Veuve Restaurant also offers a range of international cuisine and hosts regular theme nights. As well as providing the islands finest evening dining choice the Veuve Restaurant is also open for a relaxing morning buffet breakfast until 10:00 a.m. every day.
