Very long and pleasant, we took it as our base to find a flat in Cape Town. The only thing is that it is uphill and a bit steep other than that, good.

Good location, lots of amenities and large rooms.
Nice home with just 4 self catering rooms, large rooms, clean. Good for longer stays. Has washer and dryer in the house.

we have no complaints about the property, but we did email early out saying we were going to arrive late (our plane was landing at 9:30 and we still had to pick up our rental and drive to 27 bellevue.) never received a response about the late arrival. what they don't tell you is that there is no one onsite in the evening. we got lost, bad directions, but not sure it was the hotels fault, and didn't arrive until after midnight. no one to let us in and no note as to what to do.
there was only one other guest staying at the hotel and after much banging on the door he heard us and came to the door. cautiously, he made certain we were supposed to be staying there and let us in. rooms are not numbered, and no one know what the rooms numbers are, so we just took one of the 3 empty rooms. went to sleep hoping another arrival didn't come and plan on sleeping in the room we were in!!!
it appears from talking to the other guest that there is a reservations person, a cleaner and a maintenance man. there are phone numbers for them once you get in!!
this is no way to run a reception. the house was nice, the neighborhood had several restaurants and felt very safe. a little hard to find, we asked the local police for directions and we followed them in our car for over 45 minutes before they found bellevue, but it was a lovely tour of capetown, too bad we were so tired after 39 hours of continuous travel from the united states.
use this hotel only if you will arrive mid day and have heard from reception that they will have someone to let you in. no matter how nice or well priced, if you can't get in, you will be sleeping on the street.
Restaurant Tip:
Several restaurants a block away as well as a 7-11 type grocery store.
