Lovely hotel!

Good location to overlook the city,nice decoration,great hostess, rich breakfast

I am totaly satisfied with my 3-day stay in this lovely guest house, small but great. They have a big balcony to overlook the see and stadium from the middle of the mountain. 10-15 minutes walk to waterfront, ard ZAR50 in taxi back to the hotel. Nice in-hotel decoration and even don't mention those 2 big but sweet dogs :)) The breakfast was also far beyond my expectation, free flow of croissant/cereal/muffin and plus a complete english breakfast. The hostesses were also very friendly with big smile. I definitly will recommend this guest house to any of my friends who want to visit cape town. Beautiful city by the way!

Hervorragendes Gästehaus mit tollem Ausblick

sehr freundlich, familiär, sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet

Meine Mutter und ich hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Kapstadt und haben uns im Bluegum Hill Gästehaus sehr,sehr wohl gefühlt.Die Lage am Berg bot uns einen wundervollen Ausblick, den wir sehr genossen haben. Das sehr schön eingerichtete Haus und die liebvoll gestalteten Gästezimmer habe uns viel Raum zum relaxen gegeben.Hier kann man die Seele "baumeln" lassen:-)und entspannen.Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch,das die Innenstadt und die Waterfrond in 20 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen sind.Für den Rückweg ist es ratsam ein Taxi zu nehmen das es doch sehr steil den Berg hoch geht. Aissa und Mia habe sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und waren stets hilfsbereich.Besser hätten wir es nicht treffen können und wir würden jeder Zeit wieder im Bluegum Hill Gästehaus Urlaub machen.

From Cape Town International Airport: From the airport, follow the N1, use the Waterfront exit. As you enter Cape Town, the Waterfront is on your right, you are now on Buitengracht Street. Proceed, and turn right into Strand Street at the traffic light. Keep on uphill, at the second traffic light turn left into Ocean View Drive. Turn left into the second road, Merriman Road. Follow the curve up the hill; the guesthouse is the sixth house from the beginning of the road.
