Arrival was fun but a bit cringy with the Lord/Lady bit.
Room great size had suite 812.
Valet service for car was good but sometimes it took a little wait for the car to be brought up from the Garage.
Doormen/Porters were pleasant and efficient (Thank you )
COurtesy Bus within 5km of hotel used once was good just need to wait if already used by another guest.
Just across the road from the Stadium. 5-10 min walk to waterfront. Good location and easy to get in and out by car. One road along coast to visit other areas like Camps Bay, Hout Bay etc..
Cons- Suite had kitchen but no cooking equipment like saucepan frying pan etc.. When informing reception they brought some up to the suite for us.
On using 1800 restaurant for breakfast there was no high chair available straights away as other guests had the two chairs they had in ther rooms the previous night. Our 16 month baby does not understand why she cant eat and the wait meant that we had to leave and eat out.
Pool bar played the wrong type of music for this type of hotel and not suitable to take children to for this reason and it looked dirty.
On our check out day they provided storage for our bags, and let us return our car to the car park after a day out and use a room to freshen up as our flights home was in the evening. A nice finishing touch.

Good Local Hotel in a Great Location

Very friendly staff and quick to help. The hotel is situated not far from the V&A Waterfront which is perfect if you are in Cape Town on vacation
Wifi a bit iffy however that's nothing to worry about - definitely would stay again
Restaurant Tip:
Get down to the V&A waterfront and try out Heidelbergs for a great Italian and nice range of wines

Beautiful Hotel well located
The suite was great. Two rooms. Both rooms had en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower

great hotel. we just loved the spacious suite. my son stayed in one room and us in the other one. fully equipped kitchen. breakfast was not that great. same food every morning. but then we realise we can also order ommelletes etc. nobody communicated that to us. spa is great! we had a wonderful 2 hour massage.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Hasser Grill - just a few blocks from the hotel. You can walk. But you need to book beforehand. Great small restaurant.

Super schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service
die deluxe suite verfügt über eine komplett eingerichtete küche. das zimmer ist sehr gross und schön eingerichtet.

das gesammte hotel-packet hat uns sehr gute gefallen, das zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet, das personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die hotelleistungen (unteranderem mit eigenem limusinenservice) liesen keine wünsche offen und zu guter letzt die lage (direkt an der waterfront und am capetown station) perfekt.
