Good transport service

This hotel have to many stars. The standard earn max 3 stars. We have experience from lot of hotels in the world

We forgot a bag in the room and when we called the hotel the same day we left, somebode have taken it. And not another guest... We asked the manager to call us but after 5 days nobody have called. We send an e-mail and then they called, but they blamed us. We are quite sure that we forgot the bag in the fridge and we think they at least could have given us an excuse.

Complimentary shuttle bus between hotel and Waterfront. Efficiency of hotel in organising tours/activities.

Dinner menu not very impressive in terms of variety or taste.

Overall thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Capetonian. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially in terms of providing details of available tours and activities and ensuring that I could fit in everything that I wanted to in the time I had available in Cape Town. The restaurants in the hotel were unfortunately not as good as they could be; however, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel and the Waterfront. Excellent dining is only 15 minutes away!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : White Shark Projects is an excellent company to book cage diving with. Enjoyed a unique experience under their expertise, viewing the great whites up close - thoroughly recommend it. In addition to the standard boat and diving operations, they also picked up from and dropped off to hotel (and they are three hours' drive away from Cape Town!) and organised both lunch and afternoon tea as well as a delicious stash of food aboard the boat.

Overall a good hotel for the charges made Guest Rating: 3.7

Good location, comfortable rooms, good food. Free shuttle service provided hourly to the waterfront, shopping centre is very much appreciated.

Carpets and the two chairs near reception needs regular cleaning.

This hotel is very centrally located and we apreciated the free hourly shuttle provided and the return pick up arranged by the hotel to the water front shopping centre which is open till 9 p.m. Rooms and en-suite are well furnished and clean. Food provided was very good and overall service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. Really good value for the money.

Travel tip : Most of the sightseeing and other tours can be arranged for a competitive price through the hotel reception.
