A comfortable, three-star hotel within walking distance of the popular V&A Waterfront, and the town center. Rooms and suites of the Hollow On The Square Hotel are spacious and well-appointed, and guests are made to feel welcome immediately upon check-in. The in-house restaurant, �Amici� deserves a special mention, serving authentic Italian dishes, in a relaxed atmosphere, complimented by an extensive choice of South African wine. The nearby Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is a wonderful redevelopment of the historical docklands that were once the heart and soul of the city, and has seen many of her historical buildings restored to their former glory. Today it is a place to shop, dine, enjoy a drink, and meet friends.

The hotel was not much to look at from the outside, however it was very nice, modern, and had a boutique charm on the inside. The rooms were spacious and decor was warm. The free breakfast in the restaurant down stairs was excellent as well.
I really disliked that fact that the internet connection was so expensive and yet so slow.
Internet does not come for free here. Don't be fooled. It is outsourced to an exterior company and if you are having troubles with your connection, there is not much the hotel can do to help you. Instead you have to deal with the company itself, but when you have no connection and perhaps no phone, this is quite difficult to do. Instead, I think that if they advertise internet on the website such as agoda, that it should be included in the pricing point. Otherwise my stay was great and the breakfast was superbe.
Shopping Tip : Use internet cafes during the day in the area instead of the hotel's service. Only a fraction of the price and much faster!
