This restored Cape Victorian guest house was built in 1892 and reflects the architecture of the period through its beautiful original woodwork and pressed steel ceilings. Leeuwenvoet House is located just minutes’ walk from central Cape Town, so you can easily access many attractions such as Company Botanical Gardens and trendy Kloof Street which is the restaurant district of Cape Town, or even take a trip up to Table Mountain. The staff was very professional and personable. Each room is unique. It was very easy to find and a quick drive to the V & A Waterfront. Great stay for the price.

From Cape Town International Airport:
Our main entrance is 93 New Church Street, Tamboerskloof, Cape Town, but we are directing you to our parking area which is at the back of the house, entrance in the extension of Kloofnek Road.1. From the Airport, follow N2 freeway toward the City (do not take Muizenberg direction) until you see signs for the M3 freeway (Cableway) called De Waal Drive. Stay in the left lane. Follow the M3 towards the City.2. Take the Mill Street (Jutland Avenue) (it also shows signs to Table Mountain Cable Car) off-ramp. (Look for large graffiti on the left-hand wall before you turn off). Jutland Avenue becomes Mill Street (and later Orange Street).3. On your left side, you will pass the Gardens Shopping Centre with Pick ‘n Pay, then a bit further on the entrance to the Mount Nelson Hotel and the Labia Cinema. At the set of traffic lights after the Mount Nelson and the Labia, turn left into Rheede Street.4. Proceed to the T-junction and turn left into Kloof Street. You are now facing the direction of the mountain.5. Proceed up Kloof Street. Pass Park Road on the right, then turn Right into Kloofnek Road.6. Proceed up Kloofnek Road. After about 100 metres, the road starts to bear left. At this point you will see straight ahead of you, a green vehicular gate. There is a sign on the steel gate: Leeuwenvoet House – Guest Parking. Please beware of oncoming traffic! The entrance to the Jan van Riebeeck Primary School will be on your right hand side.7. On the left hand side of the gate there is an intercom. Press intercom button and our receptionist will open the gate for you
