Enjoyable centrally located in Cape Town

Very convenient location close to beaches and waterfront area. With SPA,groceries and coffee shops just below the hotel. Great room, spacious with partial sea view and well designed with ipod dock (speakers in ceiling). Bathroom with big bath tub and separate shower a bonus! Enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. Seagulls making a noise early morning can be good or bad at times.

lovely hotel with very helpful staff
lovely location with plenty of shops in vicinity and close to beaches

i enjoyed my stay and was very grateful to the guy at the reception who allowed us to check in earlier than was stipulated.he also gave us a sea facing room when we told him that that we had requested that.
staff was very friendly

From Cape Town International Airport to New Kings Hotel:
From Cape Town International Airport head south and then make a slight left toward Airport Approach Road. Turn left onto Airport Approach Road and then proceeds for approximately 1.4km. Keep right at the fork and then merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp to Cape Town. Travel for approximately 11.2km and then merge onto De Waal Drive. Continue onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard and then proceed for approximately 5km. Continue onto Buitengracht Street and then turn right onto Hans Strijdom Avenue/M6. Continue to follow M6 and then go through one (1) roundabout. Travel for approximately 5.2km and then at the roundabout, take the first (1st) exit onto Queens Road. At the roundabout, take the first (1st) exit onto Regent Street and your destination will be on the left hand side.
