Very convenient location close to beaches and waterfront area. With SPA,groceries and coffee shops just below the hotel. Great room, spacious with partial sea view and well designed with ipod dock (speakers in ceiling). Bathroom with big bath tub and separate shower a bonus! Enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. Seagulls making a noise early morning can be good or bad at times.

i enjoyed my stay and was very grateful to the guy at the reception who allowed us to check in earlier than was stipulated.he also gave us a sea facing room when we told him that that we had requested that.

Beautiful hotel with great service!
Laminated flooring which I loved, the huge bed was to die for and the overall look of the room stunning!

The entire hotel had this freshness about it which was great. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. The room was fantastic with the most beautiful view of the sea. By far our favourite hotel in Cape Town and we stayed at many!
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are the type of person who enjoys a sundowner or two before dinner, no need to think of a place to go! The hotel has a great bar area where you can relax and take in the sea breeze. Also, if you have a late night, do not miss out on the great breakfast the Kings Hotel serves in the morning. The perfect breakfast to start off your day.

The breakfast although good must be replaced with other foods
daily. It is a bore to have the same every morning.
The reception staff were very helpful especially Riaan, who has an excellent personality.

Worst internet connection but very nice breakfast

first if you are planning to use internet, do not select this hotel. they are giving vouchers for every 100mb that basically means that if you are watching like facebook feed you might end up using several vouchers in one night and the connection will always just break at some point. you will end up asking every day several vouchers from the reception and sometimes it will just stop working totally.
breakfast is still nice and the rooms are mostly ok, but level of the hotel you should be expecting more.

Great view of the ocean,very modern, walking distance from the beach, restaurant and other amenities on the premises.

The hotel was family friendly, great place for shopping due to it being close to all major malls and small boutiques. It has a spa on the premises and a safe parking area for the hotel guests. The dining at and around the hotel is fantastic.

Great modern hotel which is good value for money!
Nice good size comfortable and modern rooms. Restaurant balcony was lovely to have breakfast on every morning. Friendly saff who are always willing to help. Free car park.

We booked this hotel after researching many hotels over several days. The location is very good and is at the quieter end of Seapoint. We were generally happy with the hotel overall but felt that it lacked facilities such as a swimming pool and the information in the rooms with regard to the area and the facilities was also a little bit limiting. The staff were really nice and willing to help with anything we needed such as printing some paperwork etc. the hotel has two supermarkets and some restaurants downstairs (which are not part of the hotel) which we found quite convenient. If you are not too fussed about having all the benefits of a 4 or 5 star hotel, then I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay. It is also very convenient for catching the Red City Tour bus which picks up just at the end of the road past the petrol station....less than a 5 min walk away!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
5 -10 min drive from the V&A Waterfront which has everything from food outlets to show and other attractions to keep you busy!
