Good Hotel with great location
Location, room size, bathroom size.

Overall very good value for money. Rooms are quite large and comfortable. would stay here again. Location is great for the young traveler, as there is plenty of nightlife within walking distance.
Restaurant Tip:
Great food can be found at the V&A waterfront. Many dining options.

Expected more from a 5 star hotel

My stay was good but had an incident of an item being removed from my room, please use the in room safe for valuables. I have had no feedback from the hotel regarding my lost item and it has been two months.

very noisy and poor service

It was wasting of money to stay in this hotel and the least enjoyable exprience during our vacation. I dont understand how this hotel is rated 5 stars as the service/standard is very poor. No towels(two nights during our stay),toilet paper in the room and when called the house keeping,they did not even bother to come till the next day and I made a big complaint!! It's probably beneficial for those who wish to party every night since it is right opposite long street where all the bars otherwise please pay a bit extra and get the better hotel cuz it is not worth it. It was so noisy with a loud music till 5 am every day that most of us(we were in two seperate rooms for 5 days) could not sleep or rest well at night which obviously made us feel tired during the day. I asked the reception to change our rooms however they replied that all the rooms they have are facing the long street. To get to the ground floor from our floor was an absolute hassel as well, It was like a maze! there was no direct elevator from the room floor which again I did not understand!! Anyway,it was the worst exprience ever and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

the pepper club is located just off the liveliest part of long street, with its late bars and back-packer hostels. noise wasn't a problem for us on the 12th floor, but it might be on lower floors. we stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment. it was very comfortable, clean, and well air-conditioned, but a bit small. had a great view of table mountain.

i would rate this hotel as very nice but not exceptional. the service was good but the location left a little to be desired. you will have to take the hotel shuttle to the beach or the dock. the shuttle service is free. the hotel is located in the city, not far from long street. drinks at the bar were undoubtedly watered down, but that seemed to be the case everywhere we went. amenities in the room were nice, but it should be noted that the spa is not full service and only offered shoulder/neck massages. views from the room were great!
