The location is the one thing I liked the most about the hotel. They also allowed me an early check-in. The restaurant on the top was a highlight. The rooms and the furniture look a quite old. The door knobs definitely need replacement. I liked the hotel and specially the restaurant on the top. The location is pretty good and everything you want to go is within easy reach from here.

the breakfast bar is outstanding, very exceptional,dinners the same.. spent 5days here , didn't really see any. weaknesses My stay at the Ritz was a pleasant experience ,the staff was very nice , helpful and professional,they had answers to all my questions , great referrals on were to eat, taxis shopping sightseeing, and had knowledge on where to go for the bargains, the restaurant on the 21st floor that revolves every 90min has the best views,fine food,great staff.will return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very accessible for trips to town 2blocks from the beach , waterfront walk, short trip to Table Top mountain , good place to start a trip to the Cape of good Hope,.

Very convenient to the waterfront and such a nice pool. I checked in and the hotel staff was very helpful. I needed a late checkout due to the late departure of my flight out of the country and again, the staff provided me with the late checkout and was very helpful. The hotel is up a quiet street with easy access to the waterfront. A nice park just off the water. The pool is pleasant and the restaurant is clean with good food. Thanks Ritz!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The access to the waterfront is nice and the park there is very pleasant. There is a miniature golf course very close by.

From the airport : Take N1 direction Cape Town/Waterfront. You reach the convention center and turn right. Drive straight ahead direction Sea Point. At the traffic light turn left into 3 Anchor Bay Road. Turn right into Main Road Sea Point at the next traffic light. The hotel is located in the first street on the left side (Camberwell road)
