From the moment you arrive at the hotel until you depart, you will find the staff to be very helpful and courteous. The accomodation is good and this is a location I would return to and recommend to friends and colleagues. The restaurant has a great menu with an executive chef who is very keen on obtaining feedback and persoanlly makes an effort to meet his customers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to visit the Waterfront, table mountain and have a meal at The Grand Cafe on the beach.

Good Hotel
All you expect for a four stars hotel

The hotel has a good location, walking distance to the V&A, very good breakfast. Need to improve in housekeeping service, we asked for an iron and after two hours waiting they never arrived, the housekeeper called after one and half hour and told us that she'll be in our room in five minutes, after a half hour never arrived and we went out.

The newly renovated Yizani Restaurant is inspired by everything local and isauthentically South African. Yizani translates as “Come in...Welcome” in Xhosa, and is perfectly appropriate in that this restaurant offers a world-class welcome that sets the scene for the experience to follow. Directions
From Cape Town International Airport to Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel:
Head south and take the first (1st) right toward Aviation Crescent. Take the first (1st) right towards Aviation Crescent. Continue straight onto Aviation Crescent and at the roundabout, take the first (1st) exit onto Airport Approach Road. Travel for approximately 1.6km and merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp to Cape Town. Proceed for approximately 11.2km and merge onto De Waal Drive. Continue onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard. Now travel for approximately 5km and continue onto Buitengracht Street. Make a slight left onto Lower Buitengracht and the destination will be on the left hand side.
