Good location, decent rooms at a great price

the hotel is at city bowl which is easily accessible from v&a waterfront, 2 oceans aquarium, signal hill, etc.
the hotel also provides for a car pick-up and drop to the near by locations.
the rooms are basic but neat and hygienic.

Nice hotel, good service
Close to Cape Town convention centre.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
At the moment there's construction going on around the hotel,
so a bit of an eye sore. But otherwise it doesn't interfere with anything at the hotel.

Lovely hotel situated in central location.

the rooms were clean & well maintained. staff freindly & helpful & taxi shuttle to the v&a waterfront a safe trip.
Nightlife Tip:
we were a party of 3 staying at the capetonian and we had a bad experience in long street. a cellphone & wallet were stolen. all 3 of us cuaght seperate taxi's back to the hotel & not 1 taxi dropped us at the right location. be careful and hang on to your belongings & verify with the hotel for certified taxi associations that they frequently use & trust.
