Nice Convenient Hotel near Waterfront!

The Portswood is a nice colonial hotel right at the steps of waterfront so convenient for walking about.
Rooms are small, a couple with a large suitcase at best, but all nicely furnished.
Breakfast is a normal fare with choices.
Only thing was had to pay additional for parking which was standard market parking charge and you would expect some discount or waiver.

From Cape Town International Airport to The Portswood Hotel:
Head southwest and turn left onto Airport Approach Road. Travel for approximately 1.6km and merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp to Cape Town. Travel for approximately 11.2km and merge onto De Waal Drive. Continue onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard. Now travel for approximately 5.1km and turn right onto Coen Steyler Avenue. At the roundabout take the first (1st) exit onto Dock Road. Go through one roundabout and proceed for approximately 1.3km, the destination will be on the right hand side.
