Good location, but expected more

Very good location close to nightlife and restaurants. Close to Cape quarters. I found the hotel to be overrated with not very clean furniture which is due to be replaced.

Modern hotel close to all the sight seeing and the city.
The attention to detail is lacking though. Only one pillow on the bed and the spare pillows were stained, dirty and had no pillow covers. The lifts are very slow and sometimes don't stop at the floors. Hotel parking is available free of charge which is good but no free wi-fi in the rooms.

From the airport, follow signs to City on the N2 North. Continue along this road until you reach the Cape Town Convention Centre. Take the second right after the Convention Centre junction into Somerset Road. Once on Somerset Road take the second right into Alfred Street. The Rockwell is situated on the corner of Prestwich and Alfred Street.
