Sehr schönes Gueshouse in toller Lage
super Lage in Tamboerskloof - geräumige Suite und gutes Frühstück.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Walden House sehr genossen. Der Empfang war überaus freudlich und das Guesthouse ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Auch das Bad war sehr gut. Die Lage ist in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse in Tamboerskloof aber nicht weit weg von der Hauptstrasse mit einigen Rastaurants und Geschäften. Die Gegend ist sicher.
Travel tip:
Optimal für Erkundung von kapstadt und Umgebung, wenn man ein Auto hat. Abend kann man das Auto stehen lassen und zu Fuß zu einigen Restaurants gehen.

Schönes B&B, gute Lage
Gute, zentrale Lage - Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen

wir hatten ein sehr großes und hübsch eingerichtetes zimmer, allerdings guckte man vom bett aus direkt auf die abgrenzungsmauer zum nachbargrundstück. dies vermittelte etwas den eindruck eines souterrain-zimmers.
das frühstück war gut, allerdings wird nur im "wohnzimmer" serviert, es besteht keine möglichkeit im freien zu frühstücken.
der parkplatz vor dem haus ist etwas knapp bemessen.
aber insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

From Cape Town International Airport to The Walden House:
Head southwest and turn left onto Airport Approach Road. Travel for approximately 1.6km and merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp to Cape Town. Travel for approximately 11.2km and merge onto De Waal Drive. Take the De Waal Drive exit towards M3/Cape Town, and then merge onto De Waal Drive. Now travel for approximately 3.1km and continue onto Jutland Avenue. Continue onto Mill Street. Make a slight right onto Annandale Street and continue onto Orange Street. Turn left onto Rheede Street and turn left onto Kloof Street. Take the third (3rd) right onto Kloof Nek Road and the destination will be on the right had side.
