This lovely estate was originally the estate of Lady Anne Barnard and has over 200 years of history within the 175 classy guestrooms.

This is one of the higher rated establishments in all of greater Cape Town and for many reasons. Perhaps it is the lush six acres of carefully maintained parkland, perhaps it is the two indoor swimming pools, perhaps it is the nearby Cavendish Shopping district, perhaps it is the full-service luxury spa, or maybe it is the world-class dining that takes place every night in one of the three restaurants.

There are many reasons to list, these are just a few and combined with the level of service and overall tranquility of the area it is easy to understand why this is a top choice for Cape Town.

Beautiful garden, wonderful view of back of Table Mountain. Rooms are clean and organized.

Free internet in rooms, but connectivity is really slow.

Depending on which season you will be visiting Cape Town, hotel selection will change. If you are visiting in winter, a wonderful garden and a glance of the Table Mountain is more than enough.
