There were not enough towels in the room. We requested more but they were never delivered, even though we asked twice for it! One of the windows was in bad condition...we could not close it properly.

It was the worst hotel i have ever seen in my life
the best thing was that we left early

it is wasting the money and time going to this hotel, it was expensive and dirtiest thing i have ever seen in my life, it is located in the worst part of the beach and there are lots of noisy people in front of the hotel so can cannot sleep at night, the rooms are really dirty the beds and covers are dirty , i used my clothes to cover the pillows . the lifts were not working properly and the parking was terrible . do not waste your money and health.

perfect location, close to all highlights from durban, friendly staff, clean rooms, good parking area, safe. breakfast is nice. did not like the dinner. the hotel is not too expensive, I paid about R for a single room, and R to put my car in the safe underground garage. better to put your car in the garage, the streets during night are not very safe in Durban. I can recommend the Beach hotel.

The Beach Hotel's location is good but extremely noisy. There is also unfortunately to many vagrants in the vicinity. The rooms are neat but is old fashioned compared to other Hotel's in the area.

Great location, old charm property, warm staff.
Probably the best access to tourist amenities plus value for money.

We arrived too early for 2 pm. check-in but were warmly received and given our room. Spacious en-suite rooms equiped basically with everything we would need in a hotel room. A full spread buffet breakfast was on offer. Situated across the road is the promenade which had our young one enthralled with the Fair which had his constant attention. We will definitely visit again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
catch the rickshaw open-top tourists bus and have an educational and entertaining for half a day for less than r150 for a family of 3.

Great location
I liked the location of the hotel, closer to the beach and other amenities and attractions. Ideal place to book when travelling with kids.

I enjoyed my stay at the Beach hotel, the rooms were neat,Spacious, had enough space for my kids to play around but it was so noisy at reception when I arrived i guess it because of the festive fever and I had to stand in the queue for 10min before I could check in but the lady that was working at reception was working alone but she was so nice and friendly her name is Dorothy but I am not complaining though. I enjoyed my stay.
