Poor experience aside from friendly staff

The room was reasonable, however a party which went on until after 3.30am in the morning and early consdtruction work ensured that no sleep was possible. The reception staff were disorganised and check in took over 30 minutes.
This is a hotel that I will certainly not stay at again, despite some of the staff being really friendly and willing to assist.

Diners have a selection of a la carte and buffet to choose from. The delectable prawn and curry dishes and succulent lamb and chicken carvery are much talked about. Gibela has a warm, cozy ambience and is complete with a cocktail bar and pub.

Head southwest towards Mdloti Street and take the first (1st) left onto Mdloti Street. Travel for approximately 2.3km and keep right at the fork and merge onto N2 Road. Travel for approximately 17.8km and take exit 177 for R102/Kwamashu Highway towards M25/Durban/Inanda. Keep left at the fork, following signs for R102/North Coast Road and merge onto Curnick Ndlovu Highway/R102. Continue to follow R102. Travel for approximately 8.4km and turn right onto Smiso Nkwanyana Road. Travel for approximately 1.1km and continue onto Mentone Road. Turn right onto Sir Arthur Road then turn right to stay on Sit Arthur Road. take the second (2nd) left onto Lumsden Crescent and the destination will be on the right hand side.
