Warm, friendly and quiet

Excellent value for money when considering one is 10 minutes walking distance from the beaches and sea. Ridge Sea Guest House is homely run, warm, friendly and quiet, with a great breakfast to order. The owner is flexible and very helpful. Advice is readily given. There is no internet , however one can purchase a "pay as you go" cellular sim card for as little as USD15 for up to 1GB of data if required. Reception of 3G service is good at the Guest House taking care of the lack of internet access.

We had a wonderful stay at Ridgesea Guest house. Location within easy walking distance to beach and shops. Nothing was to much trouble and the staff really went out of their way to make our so relaxing. Would stay at Ridgesea again,

Head southwest and then take the first (1st) left toward Mdloti Street. Turn left onto Mdloti Street. Travel for approximately 2.3km and then keep right at the fork and merge onto N2. Travel for approximately 4.1km and then take exit 190 to merge onto Main/M27 toward Umdloti. Travel for approximately 1.0km and then turn right to merge onto M4 toward Ballito. Go through 1 roundabout. Travel for approximately 7.1km and then take the M12/Umhlanga Rocks Drive/Lighthouse Road exit toward N2/Umhlanga. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Lighthouse Road/Umhlanga Rocks and merge onto Lighthouse Road. Now turn right onto Ridge Road and then go through one (1) roundabout. Destination will be on the left.
