Every thing about Botlierskop was a delight, from their service prior to our visit either by phone or email right through to our departure. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and the tented suites are beautifully presented and equipped.

Amazing location, saw everything we wanted to see

When we arrived we thought the place was amazing, we sat in the terrace area and had some drinks over looking the mountains. The tents were great tastefully decorated and very well equipped. (prob not best for light sleepers as the wildlife is noisy especially the monkeys!)We did an afternoon game drive which is great for seeing a wide variety if animals Inc big 5 and giraffes, we were quite happy with this as we wanted to see them but didn't have time to do afew day safari. The only room which let the place down was the dining hall which is a little bit naf the food is good but we had a lot better elsewhere. The infinity pool was perfect with stunning views. Overall we would stay again but 2 nights I think is plenty as it gets a little bit jurrasic park!!

Excellent Game Reserve with great accomodation

Although there was a minor mix up with our booking on arrival this was quickly resolved and we had a lovely stay at Botlierskop. There is not a large amount of game to see but all the "Big 4" animal are there.

Very nice stay at the hotel. Staff is great and so are tents. Tents are well done and have a great view from them, also the safari is good.

Läckert hotell på alla sätt

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt vacket, ca 30 min från Mossel Bay, bland böljande berg. Underbar byggnad med vacker utsikt. Vi bodde där i två nätter och safarin var spännande. Tälten var oerhört vackert dekorerade i afrikansk stil med allt som normalt finns i ett hotellrum. Dessutom fanns en läcker duschplats utomhus med varmt och kallt vatten. Positivt var att området var så stort att man inte hade känslan av att det var inhägnat. Min man gjorde en fantastisk ridtur på mycket bra hästar ute bland djuren (dock inte lejonen som var i en mindre inhägnad); en ridtur han aldrig kommer att glömma.Hotellet hade en härlig pool med solstolar. Maten var mycket god och riklig och restaurangen var afrikansk i alla inredningdetaljer. När mörkret kom och också kylan tände man öppna spisar ute som man kunde sitta vid. Vi kan varmt rekommendera hotellet och kommer säkert att återvända.
