Lovely hotel, perfect for a 2 night stop over for winery visits. Only disappointment was the lack of supplies when ordering from the menu, lovely service though.

Lovely location but rooms need upgrading

overall good experience, awesome vineyards !
the rooms need to be upgraded, i.e. better shower head, larger tv, etc. the concierge was not easy to get a hold of when we needed to move our luggage from the room to the car.
Restaurant Tip:
If you choose to eat at Moyo's at Spier, remember to book well in advance and for the extra special experience, book the tree house for dinner

Hotel Stay in Stellenbosch

I had a wonderful reception and stay at this lodge - I can truly recommend it to anyone.Only negative point was that the hotel wanted to bill me after my stay as Agoda never send them my voucher for my stay. It was a huge embarrassment.

De Koetz Restaurant
The De Koetz Restaurant with Continental Cuisine comes highly recommended. Its unique loft, open fire place and cosy lounge area nestled between Oregon furniture, sets the ambience of the Hotel. Start off with a scrumptious breakfast enjoyed in the restaurant or on the pool-patio. As our French doors open on this area, this makes it great for alfresco dining. Full bar facilities are available. Cocktails may be enjoyed on the pool-patio overlooking the Blaauwklippen vineyards or in the cosy Coffee Lounge.

From Cape Town International Airport to Stellenbosch Lodge:
From Cape Town International Airport head south and keep left at the fork. Turn left towards Michigan Street. Take the first (1st) right onto Michigan Street and then turn left onto Borcherds Quarry Road. Merge onto N2 Road via the ramp to Somerset then travel for approximately 13.8km and take Exit 33 for Baden Powell Drive towards R310/Stellenbosch/Macassar. Turn left onto Baden Powell Drive and then travel for approximately 12.9km and right onto Polkadraai Road/R310 and continue to follow R310. Continue onto Adam Tas. Turn right at Strand Road/R44 and then travel for approximately 3.1km and turn left onto Blaauwklippen Road. Take the first (1st) right onto Canterbury Lane. Your destination will be on the left hand side.
